Be forewarned. Item is not black, it is a a deep/dark/brown.
However, I am VERY generously still giving this item 4 stars... for a few reasons.
1) Item was shipped and received much quicker than the estimated date on my order (to NJ).
2) Item was packed better than pretty much anything else I've ever received. Top notch job on the packaging. Item was received in absolutely perfect condition.
3) Item quality exceeded my expectations. Even though it's bycast leather, you certainly can not beat the quality for the price. Similar items in furniture stores are much more expensive and the quality is no better... Really happy with this.
Despite being very disappointed over being the wrong color (we really wanted black as it said in the description), we still liked the item enough to keep it. It still went nice in the room, and it wasn't worth the hassle to return it. The tray-top on the ottoman has gotten plenty of use entertaining friends, and the storage area fits all of my son's toys.
Would have preferred the color in the description... Could have been a 5 star item!
